Noxious

I learned this morning that a prominent member of the Trump White House was not only in my year at university but belonged to my house. I don’t remember him at all, and none of my university friends do either except for one who knew him personally – there were countless young men of that regular-featured, dark-haired type floating around. At any rate, it’s good to know that I would have to work very hard to be the most noxious parasite upon the face of the world in my class.

I finished watching the Crown, which enraged me. There was a good story to be told about a monarch dealing with the end of an empire, instead it was ridiculous navel-gazing of the most British sort, with people sighing about love and duty whilst striking poses.
